Tigo Fiesta Chemsha Bongo competition reaches Dodoma

Dodoma. October 2019. Leading digital lifestyle company Tigo Tanzania has today announced its exciting competition dubbed Fiesta 2019 Chemsha Bongo in Dodoma.

The promotion is running concurrently with the Tigo Fiesta 2019- Saizi Yako season was initially launched in Mwanza and will end in Dar es Salaam.Winners of the ongoing promotion are being announced weekly.
Tigo customers participating for the first time in the Tigo Fiesta 2019 Chemsha Bongo will stand a chance to win 1m/- every week, while the grand prize winner will walk away with a brand new Renault Kwid worth Sh23 million. Speaking during the press conference, Tigos’ Northern Territory Manager, Lilian Mwalongo said, “This competition is a part of our strategy to connect and interact with the customer by rewarding our loyal customers across the country.”

Additionally, Mwalongo informed Tigo customers attending the Tigo Fiesta 2019- Saizi Yako concert in Dodoma that they can purchase their tickets through Tigo Pesa at Tshs 5,000 or via cash sales at Tshs 7,000. 
“As a digital lifestyle telecommunications company, we always respond to the unique needs of customers. To purchase the tickets via Tigo Pesa, customers are simply required to follow the usual steps of sending money via Tigo Pesa, and to send Tshs 8,000/- to number 0678 888 888. They will then receive an SMS message confirming their ticket purchase”.
Tigo customers in Dodoma are encouraged to re-register their sim-cards through the biometric registration process especially during this Fiesta season to be able to beat the December deadline. 

The exercise is  aimed at protecting subscribers from the misuse of communication services, and also enable customers to be identified and ensure they get more secure  services like mobile banking, mobile money transfer and for utilities payment, like water, electricity, pay-TV etc.//Ends//
